**** Vicki English Maynes (DCC 1980), Jeanne Monfort Bassetti Jullien (DCC 1979, 80, 81), and Wendi White Wasson (DCC 1980), better known as the ‘3 Musketeers’, are an awesome example of the answer we all give to the question, “What’s the best part of being a DCC”?.... lifelong friendships!  

Upon their first introduction at the D.C.C. tryouts in 1980 at Texas Stadium, the three ladies were instantly drawn to each other by helping to calm jittery nerves, fine-tuning final dance moves, and sharing their prized possession: a jumbo-sized 'Aqua Net' hairspray to secure their ‘Big Ol’ Texas Hair’.  Following an incredible

year of Dallas Cowboys cheering together, their "Ya Ya Sisterhood" forever

friendship continues to flourish to this day, 32 years later!

 

Following cheerleading, the three of them shared a true passion for

flying above the clouds at 42,000ft. Jeanne and Vicki glamorously traveled

around the world as Flight Attendants for Braniff Airlines. Vicki and Wendi

experienced one of the greatest concert tours ever. They were hired as

Michael Jackson’s private Flight Attendants on his ‘Victory Tour’, which was

a ‘Thriller’ of an adventure!

 

Their friendships include many memorable vacations taken over the

years. From swimming with spinner dolphins in the crystal blue waters off

the Big Island of Hawaii, to hiking mystical wind-carved Sedona mountains, to

cruising across the Pacific Ocean celebrating BIG birthdays ending in the

number ‘0’, their most recent adventure was visiting

Disneyland, ‘The Happiest Place on Earth’. 

 

‘The 3 Musketeers’ truly enjoy the closeness they feel towards each

other and how much they appreciate every moment they have together.  For

their next big adventure, they are considering returning to Hawaii

to explore Mauna Kea’s 13,796 ft. summit and to visit the other "Happiest Place on

Earth" ­ Wendi’s #1 rated Honukai Bed & Breakfast......
