**** Yes, that’s our very own D’Laine Gutman Herring (DCC 1991) and Patrick Duffy, better known as Bobby Ewing, on the set of the new Dallas show! D’Laine was cast in Dallas, Season 1 episode 6, after being scouted literally off the street. Since she practices in the ER as a midlevel, D’Laine stayed on as ‘Medical Technical Advisor’ to the show. Her cameo episode should air soon and she just signed on for Season 2!

**** Michelle Mozek (DCC 2007) appears in the August 2012 issue of Max sports and fitness magazine! They did a story about her dance background and how she uses dance and fitness to stay in shape. Michelle talks about Zumba fitness and the benefits that you receive from taking those classes. She shot this cover in Arizona last month. You can pick up copies at any Max Muscle store as well as some gyms and selected news stands.

VEGAS, BABY!
**** Shelly Boston Bramhall (DCC 1989, 90, 94, 95, 96) headed to Vegas and the Grand Canyon for a little R & R with the family.... while in Vegas, she and Dayton went to ‘Vegas... the show!’ and it ended up being a little Cowboys family reunion! Nicole Hamilton (DCC 2005, 06, 07, 08, 09) is in the show as well as Addie, Roger Staubach’s niece! How cool is that???

**** Stephanie Heymann (DCC 2010) is on tour with Flo Rida! She’s helped to promote his new album on TV shows like the Ellen Show, The Voice, The Today Show, BET's 106th and Park, Univision's Premios Juventud, the Teen Choice Awards, and Conan. The group headed to London for Olympic event performances as well. This is a special time for Stephanie because her sister is on the tour too!

**** Sunni Cranfill’s (DCC 2009, 2010, 11) new hubby, Collin West, is one of four explorers raising awareness about the Arctic Ocean by undertaking the first, non-stop, unsupported row across the Arctic Ocean. The team of 4 started their journey on July 17th in Inuvik, Canada and will land in Providenya, Russia. They will row in two's- 3 hours on and 3 hours off. They will have to get their bodies used to that routine and get their sleeping, eating, blogging, photographing, etc., done on their 3 hours off. The arctic has no nighttime during this time of year so they always have light. The 30 day, 1300 mile expedition is a historical feat as well as an exploration of Arctic related issues that affect us all: climate change, energy innovation & environmental protection.

**** Suzy Roberts Smith (DCC 1984) and her daughter, Gracie, were also in Vegas for a Dance Competition! Her competitive team, Steps A Dance Studio, won High Gold 1st place for Jazz / Best Costume, High Gold 1st Place for Finale (which is like a Broadway Dance), and Best Spirit award! Thank you Nicole for hosting our alumni sisters at your show!
