This year’s ‘Taste of the NFL’ Dallas was held on May 20th at the new Omni Hotel Downtown! 35 ‘Spirit of DCC’ volunteered for this event which, by the end of the evening, had raised $195,523 and surpassed their year end goal of $1 million dollars! Meredith Landry, our contact for the event, had this to say about our alumni organization: “Your pep and enthusiasm for this cause allowed our silent and big board auction to be a huge success. You make my job enjoyable and easy, so thank you for your HUGE support and willingness to help and pitch in wherever needed. I hope to work with you all again next year.”

The DCC display cases at Valley Ranch recently received a makeover thanks to the ‘creative team’ of Michele Taylor Sharp (DCC 1988, 89), Leslie Ezelle (DCC 1988, 89), and myself! We cleaned the glass, scraped off years of grime, and removed various insect species to get to this..... beautiful new displays of memorabilia showcasing the 40+ decades of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Valley Ranch is all abuzz with new look.....
Gotta have supplies... lots & lots of glitter! Thank you Martha!
