**** Laycie Norris Wagner (DCC 1994, 95) welcomed a future DCC into the world on August 2nd- Kincayde McKinley!  Big hair bows lead to big pom poms!

**** Shenythia Frazier Willie (DCC 2000, 03, 04, 05) welcomed a new ‘Baby Willie’ to the family!  Chandler Sanders on June 3rd.   What a cutie!

****  New alumni, Trisha Trevino (DCC 2005, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10), got engaged to her beau, Nick Barnett recently.  He planned a “surprise birthday dinner” for her at Joe T Garcia’s in Ft. Worth.  They arrived in Ft. Worth early so Nick suggested they kill some time by walking through the Botanical Gardens and watching the sunset.  They’ve walked through the Botanical Gardens randomly before so Trisha didn’t think much about it…she thought they were just “killing time” before dinner.  They approached a weeping willow tree which  happened to be the same tree they stood under and took a picture together before. Trisha noticed a white blanket laid out under the tree that was scattered with red rose petals. There was also a bottle of champagne on ice, strawberries, and candles.  Her first thought was, “Oh my gosh, that is so sweet that someone is doing that for someone!” They walked over to the blanket, and Trisha thought, “Oh wow he is so sweet to surprise me like this on my birthday!” She asked him, “Babe, did you do this?”  He smiled and said, “Look at the note.”  She bent down trying to find the note he was talking about. When Trisha turned around, Nick was on one knee....   Nick, being a clever guy, had his best friend hide in the bushes to take pictures of the entire proposal!

**** Irene Maddox Hatfield (DCC 2003, 05) welcomed Christian David Hatfield on June 13th.  He joins big brother, Caden and big sis, Peyton.

****  Kristin Hager Buholtz (DCC 2006) welcomed a baby girl, Harper, on August 25th....

****  Jennifer Franklin McGregor (DCC 1997, 98) welcomed her 3rd child into the world on June 30th at 2:17pm. Ashlynn Kristina weighed in at 7 lbs and 19.5 in.  She joins her big brothers, Jaylan and Kaden.
