YOUR TRAINING CAMP CANDIDATES
On Saturday, May 29th, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders organization welcomed 44 ladies into Training Camp 2010. History was also made this day when all 26 returning veterans were selected to return to the squad. This was also the first DCC audition to be held at the new Cowboys Stadium. Training camp is currently underway with the first game rapidly approaching on August 12th.

DALLAS COWBOYS STAR MAGAZINE
With the success of last year’s Dallas Cowboys Star Magazine Inaugural Swimsuit edition, a second one was produced this year. Brooke Sorenson, current 5 year veteran, graces the 2010 cover.
BIG SIS/ LIL SIS
Many of you have inquired as to whether we will be having the Big Sis/ Lil Sis program again this year. Yes we are! This is your official notice to get started collecting those all important, necessary DCC items! The DCC will find out who their Big Sisters are at the season opener on September 19th. Gift baskets need to be received at Valley Ranch no later than Friday, September 13th.
GOOD MORNING AMERICA
The DCC appeared on a segment of Good Morning America on Friday, July 16th with Living The Dream contest winner, Amanda Roberts. Amanda made a guest appearance at a training camp practice in June where she learned a routine and had the opportunity to dance with the veterans.

NETWORKING SUCCESS
We have our first alumni association success story! Nicole Hamilton, new alumni and 5 yr. veteran, had shared with me that she will be moving to Las Vegas in the spring. I put her in contact with our alumni out there so she could start networking and getting connections. In the meantime, Heather Pliler Gorton (DCC ’02-04) reached out to me that she had a friend who was looking to hire salespeople for the new Gregory’s store that would be opening in The Venetian Hotel soon out in Las Vegas. This is a special relationship for Heather and only wanted to recommend the best to her friend. I told Heather about Nicole and next thing I know, Nicole emails me that she has the job and will be starting here in Dallas first! Heather recommended her without hesitation because of her DCC history. What a success story! Thank you Heather for thinking of your sisters and for helping Nicole get her feet on the ground in her new city!
